The Maples (so-called because of the large maple sugarbush that surrounds it) was built with wheelchair accessibility in 2000 for Bill's elderly father to live in. Unfortunately, after eventually needing to move to a nursing home, Dante passed away in 2006 at the age of 95, and his comfortable home is now available to rent as well. The house is quite a bit larger (3100 square feet) than the other places, and also very well appointed. It is fully furnished and equipped, right on the farm, and very private.
The Maples sleeps up to 6, although two additional children can sometimes be accommodated on a comfortable Aero-bed mattress set up in one of the bedrooms. The house is two floors with a full basement, with a lovely, light master bedroom with private bath with walk-in shower on the ground floor, one private bedroom upstairs with twin beds, and a queen size foldout couch in another upstairs "loft" type room. Upstairs also has a second bath with jacuzzi tub. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a large gas range with convection oven, stocked with spices, paper towels, detergents, etc., and a dishwasher. It has both a dining room and a breakfast nook, a large living room with TV, VCR, and basic satellite service, a fireplace, a full size washer/dryer, two car garage (one bay is used by us) and a large exterior deck. All towels and linens are provided. Lodging Rates.

"We had a memorable vacation. We arrived very pleased to see a beautiful house and fresh flowers on the table. This sight, with a glass of wine and the children in bed was the start of our decompression".

"I just wanted to let you know that we really had a great time in the Maples and on the Farm this past weekend. What a beautiful place and both you and Norma made the stay even more delightful. It was great meeting the two of you (and Tucker.) We were so enamored of the place we were wondering if we could come back at the same time next year?"
