Norwegian Fjord Horses are one of the world’s oldest recognized breeds. Norwegian Fjords, first domesticated and used by the Vikings, are a small, but athletic breed, with outstanding temperament and versatility, capable of being used for tasks as varied as land plowing, competitive carriage driving, jumping and dressage.
After breeding, training, selling and just enjoying Norwegian fjord horses for over 30 years Norma and I have decided to scale down the size of our herd and will no longer be offering Fjords for sale. We expect that the 5 remaining Fjords we own, mostly aged brood mares that we bred, will live out their lives and be interred on the farm at some point.
